About this Event
When we feel our emotions fully, we embrace their power and can show up on the world with clarity, empathy and agency.
Many of us have learned to manage or suppress our emotions, often without even realising it. We can either feel it’s not safe or that we are simply too busy to give space to how we truly feel. Yet our emotions hold vital energy and wisdom, and when they are ignored, they can manifest as anxiety, tension, or even physical pain. When we let ourselves feel them, truly feel them, allow them to move through our body and into expression, we find a sense of freedom, release, lightness and balance.
What to expect…
This two-hour session offers a caring space to reconnect with yourself and your feelings through breathwork, somatic practice, meditation, and relaxation. We begin with gentle somatic practice or mediation to help prepare your mind and body for the breath journey. Bring anything you need to feel comfortable to lie down for up to 1 hour. Your facilitator, Lizzie, will guide you through the breath journey, offering gentle prompts and support, all the while carefully curated playlist of music holds you as you move through the experience. Afterwards there is time for landing, reflection and peaceful creative integration of your insights from the journey.
One beautiful aspect of breathwork is that it does not require us to explain our experience or analyse ourselves, simply the willingness to show up and breathe is enough. Participants share that they leave a breathwork session feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to themselves and others.
Trained in Holosomatic Body Therapy and meditation, Lizzie loves to create a held space where you are free to feel without judgement or pressure. Whether you’re carrying unspoken sadness, tension, or simply seeking more ease and connection, this session invites you to relax and breathe into a greater sense of freedom to be you!
Throughout, we prioritise safety and embodiment, facilitators are on hand to support you. Supportive touch is available during the breathwork session — always optional and entirely up to you, you are always at choice in how you wish to be supported.
