RE-THREAD QUILTING BEE
Support local textile reuse in Chicago by joining our quilting bee! The Wasteshed and Chicago Textile Center is teaming up to raise money for our organizations by hosting a community quilt fundraising bee. Help us make a scrappy quilt with 100% reclaimed textiles and support local arts orgs in the process!
Join us for music, refreshments, and friends at The WasteShed Chicago where we’ll be sewing the quilt together during an afternoon of community sewing. Tickets are open to all – making a block to participate is not required!
There are 2 ways to support our fundraiser!
Buy this ticket to participate in the quilting bee. The event will have snacks, refreshments, friends, and most importantly quilting!
OR
By purchasing a quilting block pack at either WasteShed location or on our website. The quilting block pack comes with a voucher for the ticket to the event, fabric, and an instructional zine made by CTC. Quilt Blocks will be due November 1st to prepare for event.
