Rethinking What It Means to Be Sexually Free with Shan Boodram: 2026 Masters and Johnson Lecture Shan Boodram, certified sex educator and sexologist (as seen on Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle) will be presenting at the 2026 Masters and Johnson Annual Lecture.
Sex as an act of freedom acknowledges that sex is not just physical, but also emotional and psychological. Sex is one of the few places you can go to transcend societal norms. It empowers people to explore identity and relationships with authenticity, making it a vital form of human expression and fulfillment. We'll start with sex positivity's "Freedom To" invitation, then head into Breanne Fah's "Freedom From" addition before closing with "Freedom Not To" contribution.
Sponsored by the Brown School, Office of the Provost, the Sexuality, Health, and Gender (SHAG) Center, the MSW Sexuality Specialization, and the RSVP Center.
