About this Event
The Academic, Community, and Research Implementation Programme (ACRIP), supported by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), established the Faith Research Network (FRN).
This symposium, “Evidence Begins with Experience,” is innovative and path-breaking, drawing on more than 25 years of ministerial advice to the Department of Health and award-winning executive leadership across the NHS and the Royal Colleges.
It brings together strategic insight, intellectual rigour, and applied research excellence to advance an innovative system of evidence generation through the structured integration of Faith-Based Care Models within VCFSE services, strengthening policy development, communications, media and outreach.
The keynote address will be delivered by Dr Nola Ishmael to commemorate the 221st anniversary of Mary Seacole’s birth. Her keynote, titled “Beyond the Windrush Era: Leadership for a New Generation,” will be followed by a panel discussion, “Ready to Lead.”
