Deepen your understanding of what it means to live in poverty & ignite your desire to be part of the solution.
Poverty simulations are designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live as a typical low-income family trying to survive from month to month. It is a simulation, not a game. The objective is to sensitize participants to the realities faced by low-income individuals and families.
- Parking is available on the street, across Hamilton Blvd in First United Methodist Church's lot, or across Glendale in Carle Health's parking lot.
- Free for participants
- Register as an indiviudal, team, or work group.
- 18 and older.
- Spots are limited to 72 so register today.
