About this Event
Restore the Route is a hands-on community giveback event dedicated to rebuilding the monarch butterfly habitat. Kids will paint their own small pot, learn how to plant native milkweed, and gain the knowledge to care for it at home (with parental guidance). Milkweed is the only plant monarchs lay their eggs on and the only food their caterpillars can eat, making it essential to their survival. Together, we’ll help restore the monarch migration route and milkweed population, one plant at a time.
