The pelvic floor is the foundation of our core — supporting the organs, stabilizing the spine and pelvis, and influencing breath, posture, continence, sexual health, and overall vitality. Yet for many, this area remains misunderstood or overlooked until discomfort, weakness, or dysfunction arises.This workshop blends practical pelvic floor education with a guided yoga practice to help you understand your body, build deep core connection, and develop tools for lifelong support.
During our time together, you will learn:
• What the pelvic floor is and how it functions
• Common pelvic floor disorders, prolapse insights, and contributing factors
• How breath, alignment, stress, and lifestyle impact the pelvic floor
• Techniques to cultivate balance — not just strength, but relaxation and tone
• How yoga and mindful movement can support pelvic floor health
Following the educational portion, we will move into a 45-minute yoga practice focused on the pelvic floor and deep core through breath, awareness, mobility, and gentle strengthening. Modifications will be offered throughout, making this workshop accessible for most bodies.
You will also receive take-home handouts to support continued practice, including key points from the lecture and pelvic-floor-friendly movements you can integrate into daily life.
