Restorative Yoga, Kundalini Reiki, Breathwork & Gong healing

Within the beautiful space of Burpham Wellbeing's Mongolian Yurt I will focus on bringing you to a complete state of relaxation to allow you to go deep within yourself leaving the physical plane behind. This is a deeply healing session.

Yoga

We will begin our journey with Restorative Yoga which enables deep relaxation. Poses are held for 5 – 20 minutes each by using many props so that the body is 100% comfortable. This allows you to relax completely in both body and mind throughout the duration.

Kundalini Reiki

Throughout the Restorative Yoga I will be offering everyone Kundalini Reiki - Kundalini Reiki is an energy therapy that works with the body’s own remarkable healing capabilities. It is a superior form of Reiki which is different to the regular Usui Reiki you may have come across before. Kundalini Reiki, you are not just working with Earth and Spirit energy, you are also working with and activating your own life force energy.

• It promotes and accelerates the natural healing process and restores balance on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
• It helps relieve stress and pain.
• At the emotional and mental level, it is effective and useful in cultivating and transforming character traits and habits, heals emotional issues, unblock limiting beliefs and reconcile relationship issues, karmic bonds between people, places and situations.
• It brings upon peace and calmness.
• At the spiritual level, it brings one to an inward journey of self-discovery and heightens one’s consciousness level, awakens one’s innate potential talents and gifts which brings upon personal transformation.

Breathwork

Moving onto Breathwork, we will go into an even deeper state using connected breaths and breath holds along to particular chosen music. This type of breathwork is a powerful and safe way to infuse the body with prana (oxygen) and energy, recharging our own systems to work to their healing capacity. It facilitates openings to higher levels of consciousness, allowing us to tap into our deeper resources and live our lives joyfully and in abundance.

Gong Healing

We will end the session together with a beautifully long Savasana where you will bathe in the healing vibrations of my Pluto or Venus Gong. Pluto represents integration, purification and letting go. Venus represents love, beauty and partnership. Benefits of a gong bath:

• Accesses our parasympathetic nervous system switching us to a “rest and digest” mode.
• Helps to lower blood pressure
• Aids digestion and anxiety.
• Impacts the meridian pathways by releasing emotional blocks & reduces tension.
• Stimulate prana (life force) which has the ability to change our DNA
• Shifts the listener away from the ego and into altered states of consciousness where deep rejuvenation and repair can occur.

What to wear/bring:

• Loose comfy clothes and socks to keep warm.
• Blankets x 2
• Square pillow x 1
• Bottle of water
• You are welcome to place you own mat on top of mine if you wish.
• Own eye mask if you would prefer, I do have lavender ones available.
• A couple of crystals if they are part of your practice - whichever you feel drawn to on the evening.
