About this Event
Because you loved it so much… we’re doing it again.
Restorative Yoga & Energy Healing
with Ashton Hethcote & Rachel McKenzie
Studio Be Napa | SUNDAY APRIL 19 9-10:30 AM
After a full week of output, stimulation, and holding it all together, this session is your space to downshift, physically, mentally, and neurologically.
We begin with restorative yoga led by Ashton: slow, supported shapes paired with intentional breath to release tension, restore mobility, and signal safety to the nervous system.
During the session Rachel guides somatic energy work to help the body process what movement opens, supporting deeper integration, unwinding unconscious bracing patterns, and allowing the system to reorganize from within.
This is where movement meets nervous system work. Where breath meets awareness.
Where your body stops compensating and starts reconnecting.
You’ll leave feeling:
• More grounded, steady, and clear
• Less tense, without forcing release
• More connected to your body and breath
• Resourced for the week ahead
No experience needed. Just a body and a willingness to listen to it.
This feels like it is going to become a recurring offering at Studio Be... for a reason.
Come see what your system’s been asking for.
Move. Breathe. Settle in at Studio Be Napa.
Wellness that Works. Empowerment that lasts.
Meet Your Practitioners
Ashton is a Napa-based yoga instructor known for guiding thoughtful, accessible classes that prioritize nervous system awareness, intelligent movement, and sustainable strength. Her teaching style focuses on slow, intentional sequencing and breath-led movement that helps the body release accumulated tension while restoring stability and ease. Ashton creates spaces where students can reconnect with their bodies, move with greater awareness, and build resilience through consistent practice.
Rachel McKenzie is co-owner of Studio Be Napa and a somatic energetics practitioner specializing in nervous system regulation, spinal entrainment, and embodied resilience. Her work blends breath, somatic awareness, and subtle energy practices to support the body’s natural ability to reorganize and restore balance. Rachel’s approach is grounded, curious, and approachable, creating experiences that are both deeply restorative and rooted in self empowerment.
Together, Ashton and Rachel create an experience that bridges movement, breath, and somatic energy work, offering a supportive environment where the body can soften, regulate, and integrate.
