As the wheel of the year turns, Beltane invites us to honour the rising light, the blossoming earth, and the life force that moves through all living things. It is a celebration of fertility, creativity, and the union of energies, within ourselves and in the natural world around us.
Join us for a deeply restorative sound bath designed to align you with this powerful seasonal shift.
🌸 What to expect
You will be gently guided into a state of relaxation through a combination of sound, stillness, and intention. Using instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, and grounding tones, this session offers a space to:
- Release what no longer serves you as we move into a new season
- Reconnect with your body, breath, and inner rhythm
- Reflect on growth, intention, and personal expansion
- Immerse yourself in the sounds of renewal and balance

Beltane marks a threshold — a moment where nature is in full bloom, alive with possibility and expression. Just as the earth flourishes, we too are invited to step into our own growth, creativity, and vitality.
This sound bath will hold space for you to:

Practical Information
- Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in
- Bring anything that helps you feel comfortable on the floor (yoga mat, blow up matress, extra layers, socks, blankets)
- A water bottle
- An open heart and permission to rest
The Venue
The Bridge Between Community Centre is located near Morrisons and Waterfront Medical Centre, Barry. There is plenty of free parking outside the venue including car charging spaces.
Contraindications for Sound Bath
Please check before booking if you are currently pregnant (first trimester), have sound induced epilepsy or have a history of serious mental health conditions. Please get in touch with Tara if you are unsure or need to ask any questions at all!

About the Facilitator
Tara is an experienced professional musician, music teacher, vocal coach, and sound therapist, with training from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the International Sound Healing Academy.
With over 20 years’ experience performing and teaching music, Tara has spent most of her life using sound as a way to create meaningful connection. Her work has spanned a wide range of settings, including bands, special schools, care homes, and community spaces. For the past three years, she has been offering restorative sound baths in and around Bristol and Wales.
Tara’s approach to sound is gentle, intentional, and nervous-system–aware. Her sound baths are designed to support deep rest and regulation, beginning with a short guided meditation and unfolding into softly played, spacious sound. Rather than intensity or constant stimulation, she prioritises careful listening, attunement, and allowing the body to settle in its own time.
Her work is rooted in the understanding that sound can positively influence our physical, emotional, and energetic states through presence, sensitivity, and trust.
