Restorative Reproductive Health for Women Across the Lifespan is a continuing education activity designed to enhance nurses’ knowledge and clinical competence in assessing and supporting women’s reproductive health using a restorative, systems-based approach. The activity focuses on hormonal physiology, menstrual cycle health, and common reproductive concerns across the lifespan.

Participants will examine the roles and interactions of key hormones (including estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, and thyroid hormones) and identify the phases and clinical indicators of a healthy menstrual cycle. The activity addresses common signs of hormonal imbalance, such as PMS, irregular cycles, fatigue, and mood changes, emphasizing underlying contributors, including chronic stress, gut dysfunction, blood sugar imbalance, impaired detoxification, and environmental exposures. The relationship between gut health, liver detoxification, and hormone metabolism is highlighted to support whole-person assessment, patient education, and care planning within nursing practice.
