Overview
Restorative Family Wellness Day is a monthly community wellness initiative held every last Saturday of the month. The program brings together families, holistic wellness practitioners, and small businesses to increase access to restorative services, strengthen protective factors, and support violence prevention through community-based healing infrastructure.
Why: The Problem
Communities impacted by chronic stress, trauma, social isolation, and limited access to supportive resources often face increased vulnerability to family and community violence.
Traditional prevention models often intervene after harm has occurred.
This initiative supports prevention upstream.
A Solution
Restorative Family Wellness Day offers a trauma-informed, family-centered model that promotes:
- Nervous system regulation
- Family wellbeing
- Community connection
- Access to holistic wellness resources
- Small business partnership and reciprocal local economic support
- Protective factors associated with violence prevention

- $50 vendor spaces (6-foot indoor/outdoor options)
