Restorative Communication for Street Outreach Workers: Restorative Communication is the foundation of all restorative practices as it is the glue that holds relationships and community together. This training focuses on proactive communication strategies and examines how our communication dynamics can impact relationships with each other and our clients. This training incorporates interactive exercises designed to support staff in implementing violence intervention settings.

Restorative Conversations for Street Outreach Workers: Restorative Conversations provide an alternative framework for handling day-to-day conflicts by using restorative questions to get to the root of the issue, address the impact, and create an agreement that not only addresses the harm caused, but also puts strategies in place to prevent it from happening again in the future. This training incorporates interactive exercises designed to support staff to implement in violence intervention settings. (3 hours)
