Step into Deep Rest Sanctuary, a nurturing space where Restorative Yoga and immersive Sound Healing come together to help your body and mind truly slow down.
In modern life, many of us are constantly in “working mode” — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Even when we think we are resting, the nervous system often remains subtly alert.
Many people don’t realise how tired they truly are until their body is finally given permission to rest.
Restorative Yoga intentionally slows the pace, inviting you to remain in supported poses for longer periods so the muscles, fascia, and nervous system can gradually unwind without effort.
As you rest in these supported poses, therapeutic sound frequencies softly fill the space, creating a deeply supportive environment where physical relaxation and energetic harmony unfold naturally.
The combination of fully supportive restorative poses and therapeutic sound gently guides your body to pause, soften and return to a state of conscious rest.
This experience is intentionally guided by two facilitators working in collaboration, each holding space for their specialty.
Dawn gently guides you into fully supported restorative poses using bolsters, blankets, and props, while Wendy curates an immersive soundscape with Alchemy Crystal Bowls and other therapeutic instruments to deepen the relaxation process.
Unlike many restorative classes where sound is simply played in the background, here both practices unfold simultaneously and intentionally, allowing the body and mind to settle more naturally into stillness.
What makes this experience unique:
• A rare two-facilitator collaboration integrating Restorative Yoga and Sound Healing
• Fully supported poses with bolsters, blankets, and props for effortless relaxation
• Therapeutic soundscape curated to deepen the restorative experience
• Small group setting (maximum 8 participants) for a calm and spacious environment
Together, restorative stillness and immersive sound allow the body and mind to experience a deeper level of rest than either practice alone.
This experience combines the deep physical support of Restorative Yoga with the soothing vibrations of Sound Healing, helping the body settle into deeper relaxation.
Sound not only deepens relaxation, but also helps participants ease more comfortably into a restorative state, allowing the body to soften naturally.
Restorative Yoga (Physiological Benefits)
• Releases tension stored in muscles and fascia through fully supported poses
• Encourages the body to shift into the “rest and repair” state
• Allows the nervous system to tune down without the need to perform
Sound Healing (Energetic & Nervous System Benefits)
• Calms the mind and supports nervous system regulation
• Gentle sound frequencies help participants settle more comfortably into the poses
• Encourages emotional balance and mental relaxation
Together, Restorative Yoga and Sound create a deeply nurturing environment where physical relaxation and energetic restoration unfold simultaneously.
Many participants leave feeling lighter, calmer, and deeply refreshed.
This session may be especially supportive if you:
• feel constantly busy or mentally overstimulated
• struggle to switch off or slow down
• carry tension in the body from work or daily stress
• prefer a gentle and supportive practice instead of an active workout
• are curious about Restorative Yoga or Sound Healing
The supported poses allow the body to soften gradually, while sound helps calm the mind — making it easier to relax at your own pace without pressure or expectation.
Restorative Yoga is generally gentle and accessible. However, please consult a healthcare professional before attending if you:
• have recent injuries or are recovering from surgery
• have serious medical conditions that may affect participation
• are pregnant (please inform us in advance so we can make necessary preparations)
If you have any concerns about suitability, feel free to reach out before booking.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and stretch easily.
You may also wish to bring:
• Personal blanket or shawl
• Water bottle
• Light jacket for warmth
Yoga mats and props will be provided.
• Please do not attend if unwell
• Arrive at least 15 minutes early to settle in
• Minimum 5 participants required for the session to run
Dawn See
Yoga Teacher (YTT200 · Kids Yoga · Myring · Aerial · Restorative)
Dawn’s first experience with Restorative Yoga was transformative. She stepped into class with no expectations, feeling her usual self — not particularly tired — but walked out feeling a renewed sense of energy, as if she had recovered from an unknown state of fatigue.
This experience inspired her to explore restorative yoga more deeply and pursue further training in Restorative Yoga Teacher Training.
For Dawn, Restorative Yoga is not simply about guiding someone into a pose. It is about how the body feels when it is fully supported — even before stepping onto the mat.
Her teaching focuses on creating a safe and non-judgmental space, where students can slow down, rest, and reconnect with themselves at their own pace.

Wendy Lum
Multi-Instrument Sound Therapist & Energy Guidance Coach
Wendy is known for creating deeply immersive sound journeys using instruments such as Alchemy Crystal Bowls, Gong, Therapy Harp, Euphone, Crystal Lyre, and more.
Through intentional sound frequencies and vibrational resonance, her sessions guide participants into states of deep relaxation where the nervous system can naturally regulate and restore.
In this experience, Wendy intuitively curates the soundscape to complement the restorative practice, allowing sound vibrations to gently guide participants into profound stillness and inner balance.

What should I expect in Deep Rest Sanctuary?
This is a guided Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath experience.
You will be lying on the mat in restorative poses supported by bolsters, blankets, and props, allowing the body to relax without effort. While you rest in these poses, therapeutic sound healing instruments will be played to deepen relaxation and support the nervous system.
The session concludes with a long savasana Sound Bath, where you simply lie comfortably and receive the vibrations of healing sound.
Do I need yoga experience or will there be any physical exercise?
No prior yoga experience is needed.
This session is gentle and deeply restful, with no strenuous movement or physical exercise involved. You will spend most of the time lying in restorative poses fully supported by bolsters, blankets, and props.
The focus of this practice is not on stretching or achieving poses, but on resting and allowing the body and mind to unwind naturally.
I find it difficult to relax, stay still, or quiet my mind. Is this session suitable?
Yes.
Many people believe they are “bad at relaxing.” Restorative together with Sound Bath creates the space to guide your body into it.
The supported poses help the body gradually release tension, while Sound Healing encourages the nervous system to settle naturally. You are free to relax at your own pace without pressure to perform or remain perfectly still.
What if I fall asleep during the session?
That’s perfectly okay.
Some participants drift into light sleep as the body relaxes deeply. Others remain in a conscious restful state.
Both experiences are completely natural and beneficial for the nervous system.
Why are there two facilitators?
This experience is intentionally guided by two practitioners so that each can focus on their specialty.
Dawn holds the restorative yoga space while Wendy curates the sound journey, allowing a deeper and more attentive experience for you.
