About this Event
SIAFU Women’s Retreat: Rest, Refuge, Renewal is a Christian gathering created to provide women with a meaningful time away from the busyness of everyday life. It offers a peaceful environment where women can rest in God’s presence, find refuge in His Word, and experience spiritual renewal. Through worship, prayer, teaching, and fellowship with other women of faith, participants are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ and be refreshed in heart, mind, and spirit. The retreat is a time to reconnect with God, build supportive community, and return home strengthened, encouraged, and renewed.

Frequently Asked Questions
This is my first retreat. What is the property like?
The camp is located in a scenic area outside of Ark City, KS. There are 3 main lodge houses set up dormitory-style. Other amenities include a chapel, dining room, and an amphitheater with a large cross. There are also hiking trails and a sand volleyball court. For more information or pictures, check out the camp's website: http://prairieviewcamp.org/.
What are the bedrooms like?
You will be sharing a room and bathroom with 6-7other women (with the exception of the 2 large bunk rooms that comfortably sleep 15-17 women). Almost all of the beds are bunk beds with twin mattresses. Please bring a sleeping bag or twin sheets, a blanket and a pillow. Each room has a bathroom with a shower. Please bring a towel and personal toiletries. If you cannot physically make it up to a top bunk, please tell us when you register, and we will ensure you get a bottom bunk.
I have small children. Can they come?
In order to house the large group of women who attend each year, we ask that moms leave their children at home. This allows for women to be refreshed and to focus on what the Lord has for them, without any distractions. We realize it might be difficult to find childcare, so we encourage your church/group leaders to ask those not attending in the church to help provide childcare. This is a decision we have not made lightly. It is our sincere hope that every woman wanting to attend is able to do so. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
What is the weekend schedule like?
Friday begins with check-in from 4:30PM-6 pm. Schedule will be posted on SIAFU Women's Retreat's FACEBOOK PAGE.
What is the weather like?
April can be either warm or chilly, so bring a jacket and long pants. It's also wise to be prepared for rain! There will be walking, so wear comfortable shoes.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes and shoes
Jacket for cool mornings/evenings
Sleeping bag or twin sheets, blanket, and pillow
Towels, washcloths and toiletries (including personal mirror to help with morning bathroom rush)

Where should I park?
F eel free to park in the grass near the chapel, in grass next to gravel road or near your lodge!
What if something comes up at the last minute and I can’t make it, can I get a refund?
