Restorative yoga is a gentle movement practice focusing on relaxation & stress relief through providing the space to release & unwind as a key component of optimal health. Through the use of props to support the body in passive poses, it incorporates breathwork to promote healing & rejuvenation, ultimately calming the nervous system, enhancing flexibility, reducing stress, improving sleep & fostering a deeper sense of inner peace. This 75-minute offering will include a series of supported asanas/postures held for several minutes each & an extended final rest/savasana. Students may expect soothing music, the scent of essential oils, poetry, guided meditation. Rest, Reflect, Repeat aims to calm the mind & relax the body.What to Bring: Bring an open mind, a willingness to decompress & an eye pillow if desired. Come dressed in your most comfortable clothes. Mats and all props will be provided.
