What to expect
A small informal gathering of Black Women who are interested in healing from the inside out.
This will involve
Learning how and why physical and emotional patterns live in body and how to start unwinding them, even if they have been there for decades.
Learning to slow down in ways that feel gentle, even when you feel anxious
Reframing rest so that it becomes easeful, instead of feeling guilty or shameful about it.
What to bring
Please wear comfy clothing that you can move in easily. Mats, props and blankets are provided, but you’re welcome to bring any other items you'd like for extra comfort, as well as a journal and pen if you want to write anything down.
Accessibility
Studio Dreamland is located on the third floor of the building. There are 31 steps from the street to the studio and unfortunately no lift. That means that it is not currently wheelchair accessible.
There are plans for online offerings so that practices can be accessible for folks who can’t make it into the studio. Sorry if this prevents anyone from being a part of the group at this time. If you'd like to speak with me about this feel free to send me a message.
