About this Event

This walk begins and ends at the Gothic Arch near the Main Entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street (500 25th Street).

Join Green-Wood's leisurely walking group for an afternoon of heart-healthy exercise and warm conversation. It’s the perfect way to celebrate American Heart Month!

This welcoming gathering is designed for older adults who love a good stroll and even better company. Together, we'll meander through the Cemetery's scenic paths at a comfortable pace, taking in beautiful views, discovering fascinating stories, and connecting with fellow walkers along the way. It's more than exercise, it's a chance to share your own stories, make new friends, and experience one of Brooklyn's most extraordinary settings.

Leading the way is Mary Pat Klein, a fiber artist, fitness instructor, and Green-Wood program lead. She knows every twist and turn of these 478 acres and has plenty of stories to share!

Please consider a $10 to the Green-Wood Historic Fund so that we can continue to offer free and low-cost tours like this throughout the year.
