Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka
For the first time in Bangladesh, we are delighted to host a national platform, where words meet wisdom, and verses echo voices from across the country's medical community.
This landmark event is organized by AFMC Language & Debate Club and welcomes MBBS and BDS students from all medical and dental colleges nationwide.
Segments:
1. Bangla Debate
2. English Debate
3. Bangla Poetry Recitation
👥 Who Can Participate?
Only current students of MBBS and BDS programs from any medical or dental college in Bangladesh are eligible to participate.
📝 Registration Details:
🔹 Debate Registration:
➡️ Team-based primary registration (3 members per team).
➡️ Limited slots available: 8 teams for Bangla and English each.
➡️ Teams will be contacted on a first-register, first-considered basis. The primary registration form is attached herewith.
➡️ Final registration for selected teams will require a fee of 1500 BDT.

🔹 Bangla Poetry Registration:
➡️ Individual registration
➡️ Registration fee: 50 BDT
➡️ A maximum of 3 participants per medical college will be accepted
➡️ During registration, please submit 2–3 poem titles (to help avoid repetition)

📜 Rules & Guidelines:
🔹 Debate Competition:
Format: Asian Parliamentary
Team Roles:
Government: Prime Minister, Deputy PM, Government Whip
Opposition: Leader of Opposition, Deputy Leader, Opposition Whip
Speech Duration:
Constructive Speech: 3–4 minutes
Rebuttal: 2 minutes (by one of the first two speakers)
Structure:
Round 1: Knockout between 8 teams (lottery-based pairing)
Semi-Final: 4 winning teams
Final: Top 2 teams
Awards:
1️⃣ Champion Team
2️⃣ Runner-up Team
3️⃣ Second Runner-up Team
🗣️ Best Speaker
Judging Criteria will be shared before the event.
🔹 Bangla Poetry Recitation:
Duration: 3–4 minutes per participant
No background music permitted
Original bengali poems are allowed and appreciated
Judging criteria will be disclosed before the event
Top 5 winners will be awarded
