From the noble chorale of Gustav Holst’s The Planets and the sparkling march from Sergei Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges, to a vibrant classic mash-up, the evening moves through drama and playfulness. The passion of Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2 and the evocative Memorias by Pedro Iturralde lead to a grand finale with Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures from an Exhibition.
