Maintaining strong bones doesn't have to depend on New Year's resolutions; simple, consistent daily habits are key. For women, these habits are particularly vital during menopause, as declining estrogen levels can lead to a loss of up to 20% of bone density in the five to seven years following the transition.This workshop is for beginners or improvers who are concerned about their long-term health and want to:
• Strengthen bones, muscles, and joints.
• Learn safe and correct techniques.
• Improve both mental and physical wellbeing.
• Help reduce pain and common symptoms
Incorporating these habits into your daily routine, regardless of the calendar date, will help ensure your bones remain healthy and strong throughout your life.
🏋️The afternoon session is designed to simplify the whole system, break down the jargon and teach you how to be your own fitness coach.
💪Learn the fundamentals of weight-lifting and how you can adapt each system so it applies to you, understand how to progress, regress, when, why and how, plus much more!
🏋️Go home with an 8 week weight programme and some original and fresh ideas that you can use at home or in the gym.
✨WHO THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR
The afternoon is suitable for everyone. However, those who are pregnant, have high blood pressure, cardiac issues or stomach issues should let me know as there are some practises that you should not do. Please let’s have a chat before you book to see if this workshop is suitable for you.
Please let me know of any medical issues or concerns that you may have. A health questionnaire will be sent to you once you have booked.
✨CANCELLATION POLICY I try to keep the workshops fairly priced so that they are accessible to most. The cancellation policy ensures that my minimum costs are covered. I would therefore appreciate if you could let me know as soon as possible if you cannot attend the workshop. You will receive a full refund if you contact me more than 5 days before the event. If it is between 2-4 days and I fill your place, then you will get a full refund. If, within that time I do not fill your place you will get 50% refund.
If you give less than 48 hours’ notice I cannot provide a refund. However, you can give your place to a friend.

A BIT ABOUT ME
I’m primarily a Yoga teacher (RYS 500+) of over 20 years, a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer with additional qualifications in Exercise Referral (qualified to prescribe exercises to those with common ailments), a Level 3 in teaching exercises to Active older Adults and a Level 3 Pilates teacher with thousands of hours of teaching classes to people of all ages and fitness abilities.
The workshop will be in English. I am able to converse in Welsh but not to a high degree, but please do speak to me in Welsh 🏴.
