About the eventNew Year Yomp!
Nervous to commit to a big mountain day? Come and meet me this New Year and hopefully you will start a new outdoor journey in 2026.
NEW for 2026! My Explore More walks will be leisurely, with plenty of breaks, focusing on exploratory adventure paths. It's not just about the major summits in Eryri. My walks are mostly low level but will feature small uphills and will have an 'off-road' feel without being to tough on the legs!
Leisurely legs are absolutely welcome! This relaxed yet beautiful walk will lead us through breathtaking scenery along the Snowdonia Slate Trail from the eastern end of Llyn Ogwen.
Explore the stunning Dyffryn Ogwen, also known as Ogwen Valley. Uncover the hidden medieval packhorse bridge beneath Thomas Telford's London to Holyhead road. Experience the Rhaeadr Ogwen waterfall and conclude your journey at the magnificent Devil's Kitchen in Cwm Idwal. Enjoy being nestled in the mountains without the strenuous effort!
