We are inviting all organizations across the Quad Cities and surrounding regions including Peoria, Iowa City, and every community in between to come together for a day of connection, solidarity, and shared purpose. This gathering is meant to be more than an event; it’s a chance to build relationships, strengthen networks, and create the kind of collaboration our movements need. We welcome groups of every size and mission to set up tables, share food, exchange experiences, and introduce people to your goals, projects, and visions for the future. Whether you’re focused on mutual aid, cultural work, political education, environmental justice, labor organizing, or community care, this is a space for you.
This gathering is also an opportunity to coordinate future protests, discuss strategy, and meet political candidates who want to engage with the communities they hope to represent. The more we communicate across organizations, the stronger and more effective our collective action becomes.
We ask everyone attending to bring donations for The Third-Place clothing, hygiene items, food, and other essentials as well as toys for children. Acts of care are a form of resistance, and supporting our most vulnerable neighbors is central to our shared values.
Let’s make this a gathering that sparks new friendships, builds trust, and inspires deeper collaboration across our region. When we show up for each other, we create a kind of community that can transform the future.
