About this Event
Note: This class occurs over two days: Saturday April 26 and Saturday May 3rd from 9 AM— 12 PM . Your ticket covers both days!
Are your genes making you stressed? In this class participants will genotype themselves for a variant in the serotonin transporter gene (SLC6A4) associated with stress resiliency to explore the relationship between genes, environment, and personality.
This class will include lecture, discussion, and hands-on lab activities. It is a class for adults, but many students over the age of 13 can actively participate. Please let us know if you need a scholarship or reduced course fees, and we will be happy to accommodate.
