A Year of Mooseness Celebration – Where Kids BelongNorth Star Reach’s Summer Resident Camp is a week-long, overnight camp experience for children with serious health challenges, designed to build confidence, independence, friendships, and joy in a medically supported, inclusive environment.
As part of our Year of Mooseness, we’re celebrating 10 years of camp magic with two unforgettable blended-diagnosis summer sessions.
📅 Dates: Sunday, June 14 - Friday, June 19
📍 Location: North Star Reach
💙 Cost: 100% FREE for campers and families
✨ Who Camp Is For
• Children ages 7–15
• Campers with:
o Solid organ transplants
o Heart disease
o Epilepsy
o Sickle cell disease
• Siblings of medically eligible campers are also welcome
Our summer camps are blended diagnosis sessions, allowing campers with different medical experiences to build friendships, community, and confidence together.

North Star Reach is designed specifically for children with serious health challenges and includes:
• On-site medical professionals
• Medication management
• Accessible facilities
• Individualized camper support
📝 Eligibility Notes
Campers must:
• Be medically unable to attend a traditional summer camp
• Be able to participate safely in a group setting
• Meet immunization requirements per AAP guidelines (medical exceptions reviewed)
Acceptance is based on medical review, space, and staffing ratios.
