Begin the year by coming home to your body, your breath, and your truth.
This 3-hour New Year’s Day workshop blends ecstatic dance, contact improvisation, somatic release, and ritual to help you reset your energy and open space for everything you want to call in for 2026.
🌬️ Opening: Clearing the Old Year
We start with breathwork, gentle shaking, and guided movement to release any heaviness or residue from 2025. You will feel grounded, centered, and ready to begin.
🤝 Contact Improv Connection Play
We explore fun, accessible contact improv exercises such as:
• Weight-sharing & leaning
• Rolling points of contact
• “Leading from the heart” partner play
• Trust-building movement games
• Spirals, counterbalance & soft lifts (optional)
These exercises awaken your curiosity, presence, and shared momentum.

You’ll name a word, quality, or vision for your new year and anchor it somatically with breath, sound, and movement.
🌟 Closing: Rest + Receiving
We finish with a guided meditation to integrate your intentions and open the field for the year ahead.
