Join us for a special screening of the first hour of Rescued Hearts - the powerful award-winning documentary uncovering the miracles, mystery, and science of healing with horses.
Inspired by a life-changing moment when a 7-year-old child diagnosed with autism spoke his first words while interacting with a horse, filmmakers Dana Croschere and Krisanna Sexton set out to explore the profound connection between horses and humans.
Through deeply moving stories and expert insight, the film reveals how horses create a space where healing and transformation can unfold, reminding us that healing is never one-sided.
This special event offers an opportunity to experience the first hour of a film that is touching hearts around the world and gather with others in your community who care about horses, healing, and the horse-human connection.
Doors open at 6:00 for refreshments and music. The first hour of the movie screening begins at 7:00. After you’ll get a chance to learn about the Blue Shores Equine Assisted Therapy Program. Therapists will be in attendance to share information and answer any questions following the screening.
Hosted by Blue Shores Counselling and the 5th Street Community Cultural Festival.
