The Jefferson Choral Society invites you to experience Requiem for All People, a contemporary requiem by Virginia composer Aaron Garber, inspired by a moment inside Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris that sparked his return to composing after six years. Blending traditional Latin texts with scripture such as Psalm 23, the work offers powerful melodies and an hour of music meant to leave audiences with a sense of peace. The performance will also feature a string quartet and the incredible soloist Penelope Shumate.Tickets
