Program: Buckley Morlot of TFRW & TLRBio: Buckley Morlot has spent her career in policy and development and has a passion for keeping Texas Texan. Buckley joined TLR as the Director of Advancement in early 2025. Prior to joining TLR, she worked with clients throughout Texas to raise the funds and awareness needed to win.
Before starting her consulting business, Buckley spent nearly 4 years with the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Prior to joining TPPF, Buckley was Executive Vice President of California Policy Center. She started her career in the Bush White House, serving under President George W. Bush as an Associate Director of Presidential Personnel.
After the White House, she joined the development team at Smile Train, an international charity based in New York City. In 2012, her initial love of politics drew her back in, and she began consulting on campaigns throughout New York.
Buckley is a 5th generation Texan. She is proud of her family’s long history in Texas politics, and takes after her grandmother and namesake who was, among other honors, the Vice Chair of the Republican Party of Texas. Her grandmother was part of the group of Texans who helped turn Texas red. Buckley is dedicated to keeping it that way.
Though it took her 15 years of living all over the country (and South Africa and Australia), she is very happy to be raising her family in the great state of Texas.
Buckley is a past president of Magic Circle Republican Women’s Club, one of the oldest and largest clubs in Texas. She also served as 1st VP, Programs on the Greater Houston Council of Federated Republican Women. Buckley was honored as a 2023 Maverick PAC Future 40 as well as an inaugural member of the Texas Federation of Republican Women’s 40 under 40 class.
She is a board member at the Children’s Assessment Center of Harris County and sits on the Advisory Board of Houston Classical Charter School. Buckley and her husband teach Sunday school to first graders at St. Luke’s Methodist Church. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
