Come celebrate the first Repair Cafe event back in Nanaimo since 2015! Instead of tossing your broken items for spring cleaning, come give them a new look on life. Bring your socks for darning, kitchen appliances that have seen better days, or even bikes that no longer roll properly. The goal of these events is to foster community, divert items from the landfill, and teach valuable repair skills! Feel free to bring your little ones as well as we’ll have a “junior repairers” table for tinkering. This is a free event put on by volunteers (also if you’re keen to volunteer or are handy at fixing things- please reach out)!
