Did the dog attack your cuddly toy, do you have a hole in your favourite jumper, does your dusty bike need an MOT or do you have a temperamental electrical item? Come along and give our superb volunteers the opportunity to bring it back to life and at the same time reducing waste, saving money and best of all building community.Bring along your broken item to be repaired, on the day, by our volunteer repairers. See your item being repaired and pick up some tips on how you could tackle it yourself next time.
We hope to have textile, bike electrical and general fixers at this event (tbc).
Only one item per person and please give as you can. Donations are important to help with essential running costs.
We have a range of enthusiastic fixers, who are mostly self-taught. They will evaluate whether we can fix your item. We are unable to repair sealed electrical items as we can't open them!
Repairs are completed on a first come first served basis and you may have to wait in line for fixers to finish other repairs first. This means that we can only work on repairs that can be completed within 20 minutes.
Enjoy a cuppa and a chat while you wait! Hot drinks will be provided for free thanks to the incredibly generous support of Causeway Coffee.
