Let's celebrate the Earth together! In this pop-up series Esquimalt Rec is hosting various community groups who will share their knowledge on earth related subjects and provide opportunities to reduce your environmental impact.This 2-hour workshop introduces simple patching and visible mending techniques to help you repair well-loved clothing.
Bring 2–3 damaged items, and we’ll look at them together to find practical and creative repair ideas. All tools and materials are provided.
If you have specific yarns, threads, or fabric scraps you’d like to use, feel free to bring them.
Tsugi-Hagi is a repair and revive mending practice founded by Yuki Furuichi. Through Repairing and Reviving workshops, it connects people with their clothing using simple visible stitching techniques. Nothing is disposable — re-love what you have and continue its story.

*Open to anyone 12yrs + up. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a adult.
