Meet our Second Alumni Fellow director, Ndeye Niang.
Ndeye Dao Niang is a creative artist born in Senegal and raised in the vibrant streets of Harlem, New York. From a young age, Ndeye felt a deep calling to express herself through her body and voice. Whether through acting, dancing, strutting down a runway, or crafting visual stories, she has always embraced art as a means of reflection and self-expression. For Ndeye, art is a powerful tool to mirror the times, with acting offering a deeply personal and human way to channel these reflections. A 2023 graduate of the SUNY Purchase BFA Acting Conservatory, Ndeye is now eager to explore what it means to be an artist on her own terms. This marks her debut as a director, and she is grateful for the opportunity to expand her creative horizons.
