Last month, we focused on city updates related to the World Cup, Legacy Square activation, and key timelines.This upcoming session shifts from what is coming to how businesses can prepare and activate. The focus will be on special event permitting and how to use the city’s branding toolkit, along with Visit Renton resources, to promote events and create welcoming, high-quality experiences for residents and visitors.
As Legacy Square brings increased activity and visibility to Renton this summer and beyond, this session will help businesses think strategically about branding, coordination, and timing to make the most of increased foot traffic. Participants will hear directly from City staff about the event permitting process and the tools available to support business-led activations.
