Join us for the final In the Balance event of the year — Renewal — an artist talk with Anna Berry, who will share her practice and the making of her site-specific installation for Longton Exchange.Anna’s work transforms public spaces through tactile, ephemeral interventions that challenge perception and invite connection. Her installation Renewal for Longton Exchange reflects on regeneration and fragility — both personal and urban — encouraging us to slow down, notice, and reimagine our relationship with place.
This is a special opportunity to hear directly from Anna about her creative process and approach to working within communities, exploring the boundaries between art, activism, and environment.
We’ll also celebrate the close of another creative year with seasonal refreshments and conversation in the company of artists, partners, and friends.
About the Artist
Anna Berry is a UK-based artist whose practice spans installation, sculpture, and participatory projects. Her works often respond to urban environments, using delicate, handmade materials to create immersive spaces that question control, impermanence, and engagement.
