Hosted by Carol P.For those who couldn’t make it to the Urban Sketchers Symposium in Toulouse, France, let’s meet at RendezVous, our own little corner of France in east Asheville. Start, perhaps, with a glass of (French) wine, and sketch the lovely gardens, the quirky decor and French antiques, or the recently added barn and its “inhabitants.” Owner Michel Baudouin may even organize a game of pétanque on the adjacent courts so that we can sketch players in action.
For those who would like to stay for some fabulous French food afterward, make your own reservation online for 6:00, mention “Asheville Sketchers” in the Comments section, and Michel will try to seat us together.
