🎨💃 "Experience one fine evening with Jill Bettendorff! 🌟📸 Jill Bettendorff is a Luxembourgish multidisciplinary artist who utilizes dance, photography, and video media to express her art. Her work is strongly influenced by movement, dance, human interactions, and personal experiences.
🌍 Her pieces have been exhibited at venues including Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Kühlhaus, and Factory Berlin in Berlin, as well as MUDAM, Carré Rotondes, 1535 Creative Hub, Extrabold, Konschthaus beim Engel in Luxembourg City, and Galerie Cornelissen in Wiesbaden.
💃 Her dance career spans from theatrical productions, TV shows, commercials, music videos to film directing. In 2015, she won, among others, the television show Generation Art, a multi-month artist competition produced and broadcasted by RTL Luxembourg.
🎥 The video "Bondiaries," a duo dance video creation, premiered on the Nowness platform and was awarded at the Wildsound Festival in Toronto, Portland Dance Film Fest, Fuselage Dance Film Festival, and 180 Berlin Filmfest, winning the Audience Choice Award at the Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema. "Transcending," independently produced and directed during the coronavirus lockdown, was also awarded by the Portland Dance Film Fest.
🎭 'One fine evening with...' is a meticulously curated event dedicated to showcasing emerging or established talent from Luxembourg. Artists from music, dance, comedy, or literature will have the opportunity to present their work. We take the time to devote an entire evening to the artist, exploring the motivations behind their creations, whether it be desires, fears, or sources of inspiration.
🔍 'One fine evening with...' offers an intimate glimpse into the world of each artist and will be hosted by Luc Spada.
