About this Event
The annual Renato Perfetti Beautification Project honors the life and legacy of a young man from Marshfield who lost his courageous battle with addiction on December 18, 2014 at the age of 35. Renato was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend to many. He had a deep passion for working outdoors as a landscaper and stone mason on the South Shore, where his designs reflected both his remarkable talent and his love for his craft.
JPH at Ferry Hill serves as a meaningful place to celebrate Renato’s life and carry forward his spirit. This project is rooted in creating a beautiful, healing landscape that offers peace and serenity to those who need it most, while also supporting gardening and horticulture programs that help individuals reconnect with the outdoors and find comfort in nature, just as Renato did.
Join us on Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00am to 2:00pm for a special day of community and connection. This is a time for people to come together, lend a hand, and care for the land in Renato’s honor. Whether you are planting, raking, or simply spending time in nature, your presence helps continue his legacy. Feel free to bring rakes or other tools if you have them.
Renato’s birthday is April 29th, making this gathering a meaningful way to celebrate his life. We invite you to be part of this day of remembrance, healing, and shared purpose at JPH.
