Course Description
With the advancement of new materials and technology, dentistry has evolved significantly in recent years. Although little has changed on the design of removable partial dentures (RPDs), technology and materials for fabrication of RPDs have dramatically improved. This presentation will discuss the application of digital technology and some new materials in designing and fabricating TRPDs and RPDs. Some newer concepts in the design of RPDs, especially combining implants and fixed restorations in the same patients, will also be introduced. The goal is to improve the quality of care and improved patient’s satisfaction.
