🇬🇧 Burnley Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service 🇬🇧Join us as we come together to honour and remember all those who have served our country — past and present — including those who made the ultimate sacrifice in conflicts since 1914.
🕥 Parade Details
📍 Form Up: Curzon Street (near Marks & Spencer, Halifax Bank & Primark)
⏰ Arrive by: 10:20am
🥁 Step Off: 10:35am, led by a marching brass band
The parade will march through the town centre along St James’s Street, turning right at The Boot Inn and proceeding up Parker Lane before arriving at the Peace Garden (next to the Central Library) for a short service of remembrance at approximately 10:45am.
👨✈️ Who Can Take Part
All serving personnel, veterans, cadet forces, emergency services, and uniformed organisations are warmly invited to parade.
Civilians are also encouraged to line the route, walk alongside, and show their support.
🌹 Service Observers
Those wishing to attend the service only are kindly asked to be at the Peace Garden by 10:55am.
