HOUGHTON GREAT WAR EXHIBITION will be on display in The Broadway, opposite Houghton's Cenotaph, featuring photographs of some of our brave soldiers from World War I and other conflicts. 📅 Sun Nov 9, 2025

🎺 The parade of brass band, veterans, community groups, wreath layers and civic dignitaries, will travel along Newbottle Street *around* 09:30 for St Michael's Parish Church and the traditional Church of England Remembrance Sunday Service.
😔 The wreath laying and traditional 2 minutes silence will take place at Houghton's Cenotaph at 11:00, which we will broadcast live on Facebook for those who cannot attend in person.
We will remember them.
