How do we remember our relationship to the sacred? And hear the heart’s calling for a deeper connection and belonging?This retreat will offer opportunities to explore devotional practices and teachings from different Buddhist lineages, helping us return to and remember deeper ways of connecting through our heart’s intuitive listening.
Buddhist devotional practices offer us doorways for opening to greater sensitivity, mystery and wholesome heart qualities, guiding us towards a shift of vision in how we experience our place within the sacred web of life. We will also explore how reclaiming our connection to the sacred can be a source of empowerment and compassionate action in times of global crises, allowing us to respond with greater alignment, integrity and courage.
This retreat is for people who are interested and open to exploring devotional Buddhist practices and ritual in community.
Our retreat schedule will include daily chanting and bowing practices, guided meditations and nature connection practices. We will also practice a Kuan Yin great compassion ceremony towards the end of the retreat.
