Remembering Pedro 23: Combat Rescue in Action

The Museum of Aviation and RAFB welcomed the arrival and induction of a historic HH-60G Pave Hawk to our collection in May 2025. This amazing aircraft has roughly 30 years
of global experience in the Middle East, Africa, and the United States during Hurricane Katrina.
Join us in the Century of Flight Hangar as we highlight the relevance of the Pave Hawk mission at RAFB. We will also learn how one 920th mission played out in a real-world combat search and rescue story from a 2011 deployment in Afghanistan. We will have speakers to highlight their own experience and the significance of the Pave Hawk.
