In this intro to drawing class we will get to know the tools. Learn & practice shapes and how to make them look 3-D, shading techniques, & hand-eye coordination skills. End class with a simple still life to draw. Joanne Delaney lives in Fairfax with her husband, son, dog, cat and horses. Joanne started drawing in first grade and has been a life-long artist. Joanne received her BFA in Fine Art from UMASS Amherst. During her junior year, she traveled to Florence, Italy where she saw first hand many magnificent works of art by great masters.
Joanne's artwork is inspired by the beauty of nature and wildlife she experiences while doing the things she loves: camping, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, and skiing.
She hopes her art brings joy, peace, and inspiration.
