Killer rock and roll lineup featuring -• REMAIN from Denton, TX
• WILD WREN from Austin, TX
• JAYBIRDS from Denton, TX and Fort Worth, TX
Remain is an American rock band from Denton, TX. The band played its first show at the Labb in Denton on August 16, 2014. Since then, they have honed an anthemic, glorious sound that is both deep-rooted and fresh. In late 2023, Remain partnered with New York indie label A Diamond Heart Production and released the single 'Season of Youth' through ADHP in 2024. Things seen are temporary, only unseen things will Remain.
Alternative Indie Rock band hailing from Austin, Texas, WILD WREN began their musical journey in late 2023. Since then they have released new music and performed tirelessly in support of their self-described, "aggressively sophisticated, beautifully-raw" sound, as well as being a featured artist on local NPR affiliate radio station, KUTX's Song of the Day with Jack Anderson. WILD WREN is a tour de force with their stage presence and songwriting style, complete with soaring vocal melodies, searing fuzz guitars and bombastic yet danceable drum beats. WILD WREN's strength lies within an ethos of blending musical genres giving listeners a unique yet familiar edge to their daily playlists, and an itch to keep WILD WREN on repeat.
Jaybirds is a band of 5 friends that started in the little town of Haslet, TX in 2018. Our lead singer and rhythm guitarist, JP Walsh, has been writing music for many years, but in 2018, he decided to form a band with our lead guitarist, Braedon Ward. Soon, Josh Brantley was invited to play bass to complete the trio. After a couple other band members came and went, Jenna Walsh was brought in for some background vocals and tambourine. The band was made whole in spring 2021 with the addition of our drummer, Connor Mullen! The band played a couple shows at a music festival in Denton, TX before being forced in lockdown during COVID. But that is OK, we had a chance to complete the members of the band and focus on recording our first album, “Let it Break” for release in 2021. As soon as we were able, we hit the ground running playing show after show around Fort Worth, TX and Denton, TX that same year! We even had multiple nominations for the Fort Worth Weekly magazines “Best of 2022”, and ultimately won best song with “Honey Bee”!
