Join The Alchemist's Kitchen and Joan Rothchild Hardin for a discussion and Q&A on escaping sinus misery and healing your body naturally.
About this Event

The Alchemist's Kitchen will host an open Q&A and discussion with Joan Rothchild Hardin, PhD, on the natural science of escaping sinus misery and restoring your body's immunity without pharmeceutical reliance.

The discussion will open with Joan's personal journey into the study of sinuses, and how she found herself on the path of natural medicine and restoration. Then, we will embark on a deep dive into the purpose of sinuses in the body system, the presence of biofilm colonies, remedies to stop your sinuses from making you miserable, and ways to boost your overall immunity to keep pesky bacteria and viruses away.
The end of the class will be a forum style Q&A, where Joan will respond to audience questions and share more targeted, specific widsom with our attendees.

Joan Rothchild Hardin, PhD

Joan is a Mind/Body Clinical Psychologist in NYC with a social sciences research background. On her Allergies And Your Gut website, she writes on the gut microbiome & effective non-pharmaceutical treatments for what ails us. She has given three previous workshops teaching people how to relieve their sinus misery.

Years of unhappy encounters with Western pharmaceutical treatments for various ailments of mine, my family, pets and patients gradually led me to seek more information and healthier alternatives that were more effective and didn’t cause collateral damage often worse than the original problem.

A main focus in my clinical practice is to help people become aware of mind-body interactions, especially their ‘gut feelings’ and other physical manifestations of their emotions, to be able to grow to be their true selves.

In an earlier phase of my life I was engaged in social science research projects at:

  • Department of Medical Genetics
  • New York State Psychiatric Institute
  • Massachusetts Mental Health Center
  • Harvard University Medical School
  • The Medical Foundation (Boston)
  • the Center for International Affairs
  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology
  • and the Stanford Research Institute
