About this Event
Release the Rage- A Community Exhale
Sunday, 5/3 from 12-3PM at Ryder Park (San Mateo)
Has the state of the world got your blood boiling? Does reading news headlines make you want to punch a wall? If your answer is also yes, come join us for a rage release event on May 3rd!
We will have a variety of outlets, including inflatable clown punching bags, dancing, stress ball making, and a community art project! If you are interested in participating in the art project, please bring anything you want to glue, write, or draw about how you’re feeling right now. This can be news articles, images, poems, stickers - anything that represents your frustration in this moment. Once everyone has contributed what they’d like to the canvas, we will give folks a chance to talk about their contributions before we provide washable paint balls for everyone to throw at the canvas. Together we will create art out of anger and hopefully release some rage in the process.
Come join the San Mateo County Pride Center and Outlet for this event. This is a sober, all ages event. Snacks will be provided.
See you on Sunday, May 3rd from 1-3 PM at Ryder Park (1625 J. Hart Clinton Drive San Mateo 94403).
