From the n4ughty to the sh0cking, we all have secrets. In this issue of Bedtime, we’re exploring what it means to confess the things we’re taught to be ashamed of — especially if they turn us on or make us feel k!nky, d!rty or fr34ky. Expect a magazine that dives into f3t!sh and repression, critiques and plays with organised religion, and features lots of sneaky, seggsy content throughout.

✖️About the location
For the launch, we’ve partnered with uKirke, a progressive and qu3er-friendly church in the heart of Vesterbro.
By launching the Confessions Issue in a church, we want to directly face an institution we critically deal with, and invite it into the discussion. This includes what the church represents, its history and its rituals — acknowledging both the good and the harmful. By doing so, we hope to create a space for nuance, reflection and curious conversations, knowing this may also stir up complicated feelings for some of us.
When we approached uKirke, we were met with openness, curiosity and excitement about us bringing Bedtime’s ideas and values to the church space. We trust that the church’s beautiful space with a very particular ambiance will create the right setting for an evening of music, performances and discussions.
? Thank you to @peech for their support and donations to our contributors.
⛓ About Bedtime Magazine
Bedtime Magazine focuses on st3amy content and que3r liberation in equal measure. We explore identity, body, and seegsuality through photography, art, journalism, poetry and prose. Our approach is playful and norm-critical, and we give space to both established and emerging contributors. We try our best to showcase what diversity and representation look and feel like in our community and beyond. As of now, Bedtime is a fully volunteer-run project built on the incredible works of our talented contributors and support from our community and Bedside family. This issue of Bedtime was put together by Mette Munk, Polina Bachlakova and Lea Petrine.
✖️Please note: There will be a photographer at the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please contact the photographer.
