On Saturday, 18th April 2026, we will have exclusive use of the pool at Waves in Whitley Bay from 6pm-6.45pm. This is a perfect opportunity to have fun with other families, in an understanding, friendly environment, without fear of being judged.
All the family are welcome to join in. The session is £7.50 per person and is payable in advance of the session.
Please note that parents are responsible for their own children and must familiarise themselves with the terms and conditions as set out by North Tyneside Council for entry into the pool. This includes ensuring the correct adult-to-child ratio is followed.
0-3 year olds will need 1:1 ratio
4-8 year olds will need 1 adult for 2 children between this age bracket
9+ can come in unsupervised.

We would probably recommend getting here 15 minutes beforehand, to give you all time to get changed, but you can’t get in the pool until 6pm!
To access the lockers, the tokens are 25p. There are two token machines in the main reception area and they will accept card/contactless payment. There is a third machine in the changing rooms but this only accepts the exact change. The reception and the café will be closed when you arrive so you wont be able to get change anywhere!
