The Adult Orchestras are pleased to present their first relaxed concert, thoughtfully designed to welcome and support Nelson’s neurodiverse community.This inclusive performance will feature a selection of orchestral favourites, including Pachelbel’s Canon in D, the finale of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, and a movement from Mendelssohn’s Reformation. The concert will conclude with a joyful selection of seven well-loved Christmas carols.
In a relaxed concert setting, adjustments are made to create a more accessible and comfortable environment: the lighting remains on, doors stay open, and audience members are welcome to move around, make noise, or use headphones as needed.
